Looks good Sharon, I walked a very similar route at the weekend with the walk/cycleway idea in mind and think this idea's definately a good one. With more green infrastucture, a bit more pronounced direction and purpose, plus some more shops, eateries and points of interest etc it could become an attractive alternative routeway. I had no map with me so slightly lost my bearing at points but looking at it now it was a similar route with a couple of differences. I will try and upload them to discuss on friday. Tom
It's almost exactly the route I had drawn as well. And, more interestingly, the northern half - as far as Boundary Row - coincides with an old road called Broad Wall (there's still a tiny bit left) which followed the boundary wall of a mediaeval manor (apparently). I'll upload the historic map, and my ideas for the route tomorrow (today!)
