Love the elephants! Could we have more planting (beds/borders as well as trees) and less cars though? It looks a bit too much like a nicer version of the existing street.
I thought about more planting/borders but couldn't find the room for them. These are narrow streets as they are unfortunately... I might do some more Climbing and hanging vegetation. I'll have a look into it tomorrow to see where I can find more space. The aim was to make these streets look much nicer...and a little bit greener.
But there won't be any cars - or only occasionally. The greenway will be mainly for pedestrians and cyclists, with single shared surface, one way traffic only and perhaps a very few parking spaces, so the width of the existing pavements could be planted along each side, maybe more.
